"Un magnifique domaine avec une vue panoramique sur la mer"
La piscine est partagée avec les résidents des "Copains d'abord" la deuxième maison des Figuiettes.
" A conseiller à tous les amateurs de calme et de dépaysement"
"Un sentier très pittoresque part de la maison et mène sur une des plus belles plages du coin."
Figuiettes is the ideal place to spend your family holiday. The house is airy and spacious, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea in the distance and an open-plan feel to it. There are hammocks and cushions for both adults and children to lounge and relax in. There is a vegetable and herb garden adjacent to the house and we were invited to pick vegetables which were then freshly cooked with the help of a local cook who works at the house.
Other bonuses were a sandy beach 30 minutes walk from the house across scenic hills. The house is removed from the hustle and bustle of some of the more touristy urban locations, but still within driving distance of towns and historical sites. It is definitely somewhere we would return to (August 2014)
The house was great and I appreciate the communication with Cécile prior to arrival. Said's assistance, who live nearby the house, was prompt.

We only stayed for one night at this beautiful traditional built house whith walls over half a meter thick, at the seaside. It has three spacious bedrooms with electric blankets for the winter, a big kitchen, a central room with fine electric heater and a huge terrace. Cecile and Nordine are great hosts and will take an effort to make you feel fine. We had a great dinner prepared for us by Zora, homemade pie, fresh bread for breakfast, homemade jam and butter and even crepes! It is an ideal location if you like to be outside and like peace and quiet. Asilah is nearby and to local market at thursday is on the road between Asilah and the house of Cecile and Nordine. If you are in a hurry to get somewhere that day... beware! ;-) Driving with your own or rented car is possible, still the last piece towards this precious place is a bit of a challenge. Better don't travel in the dark, since the dirtroad is pretty narrow and the place will be somewhat difficult to find. Hope you will enjoy your stay just as much as we did!

We had a wonderful stay at Cecile and Nordine's house and Mohammed, Rabie and Zhora looked after us very well - Zhora's cooking is excellent! The walk down to the beach is spectacular and well worth doing.
